Because of road access difficulties at the Barn, we will rendezvous at Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Visitors Car Park at 6.40pm, ready for a short walk through to the Barn.

Drivers - if you are using SatNav, set the device to go to Calderstones Hospital/ Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

If you are coming from Whalley, leave the village by taking Mitton Road (B6246) from the roundabout by the old school/community centre. Go past the railway station on your right (go under the railway bridge) and then under the A59 road bridge. Shortly afterwards, you will see the big NHS sign at a wooded entrance to your left.  Turn left into the hospital grounds. Park at the Visitors car park (which is on the left, just before the security barrier).  Join the rendezvous group if possible. To get to the Barn, walk along via the Crescent (red route). This walk takes approximately 5-10 minutes.

There is an alternative walking route via Turkey Lane (blue route) through a locked gate. This route is used only by local residents and by Emergency Service vehicles if necessary.
